Chester Lamar Hoover was the 13th head college football coach for Fairmount College (now Wichita State University) located in Wichita, Kansas and he held that position for four seasons, from 1916 until 1917 and again from 1921 until 1922. His overall coaching record at Fairmount College was 18 wins, 14 losses, and 4 ties.
